• 30 Oreo cookies
• 1/3 cup butter
• 3 8-oz packages cream cheese
• 1 cup sugar
• 12 oz dark chocolate
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 3 eggs
• 10 oz strawberries (2 cups–fresh or frozen)
• 1 cup Port, ½ cup sugar


Melt the butter and blend with oreos in a food processor.  Press into a 13 x 9 pan and bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Mix softened cream cheese with sugar.  Melt chocolate and add.  Add vanilla and eggs one at a time, beating for a few minutes after each egg.  Pour mixture over oreo crust and bake at 350 for 40 minutes.  Pulverize strawberries in food processor.  Add Port and sugar and reduce on stove until about half of original volume.  Pour over cheesecake.
