Ingredients

Makes 4 -6 servings

• 4 Tbs. butter
• ½ cup sifted all purpose flour
• 2 cups whole milk
• ½ cup half & half
• ¾ cup Chardonnay
• 1 cup vegetable broth
• 4 oz. shredded sharp cheddar
• 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
• ¼ tsp. salt
• ¼ tsp. pepper
• ¼ tsp. Red Wine, Red Pepper and Chive Cheese ball mix

Directions

In large pot, melt butter. Add flour. Stir. Cook 5 min. 

Meanwhile, in a separate pot, heat milk, half & Half, wine and broth.

Slowly add the hot liquid mix to the roux, whisking constantly. 

Bring to simmer whisking constantly. 

Remove from heat and stir in cheese, mustard and seasonings. 

Adjust seasonings to desired taste.
