1. In a soup pot, heat oil. Add chopped onion and white wine. Sauté till soft.
2. Add apples and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, and then simmer till apples are soft.
3. Put apples and onions in a food processor. Add spices. Puree.
4. Return to pot and heat for serving. Top with brown sugar and raisins.
Sour cream is optional topping.
